Discovery Meetings

There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all Lifestyle Technology solution when all lifestyles and properties are unique. We commence each project with a ‘Discovery Meeting’, when we will take the time to get to know you, understand your routines, how you use your living space, and your style preferences. We welcome these meetings at the Huf Haus show home in Weybridge, or at our specialist partners’ demonstration facilities, where you can experience leading Lifestyle Technology solutions in-situ, appreciate the sleek integration of technology with interior design, and explore possibilities for your own home. Our Six Simple Steps to Intelligent Solutions

  • 1. Discovery Meeting

    Our work commences with a ‘Discovery Meeting’ in one of our show homes, where we explore your requirements and discuss how technology can usefully be integrated into your routines.

    This means that we can start creating a design brief knowing exactly what you are looking for, rather than reaching for an off-the-shelf solution that might be unsuitable to your specific needs.

    We invite guests to visit us at the beautiful Huf Haus Show Home in Weybridge for their Discovery Meeting, where they can experience a selection of Lifestyle Technology in-situ. We can also accommodate you at our valued brand partners’ demonstration facilities for specialist interests.

  • 2. Design Outline

    The Design Outline is the most critical part of the whole integration process. This is essentially a roadmap for the project, outlining the scope of the installation, the necessary timelines, the initial estimated costs and the responsibilities of all parties involved during the process.

    This is also an important feedback stage, allowing both ourselves and the client to take a step back and look at the project critically, allowing us to make suggestions and amendments that will streamline and improve the installation. 

  • 3. Design & Feasibility Review

    Here we look at the feasibility of each of the proposed solutions, stress-testing each element in line to ensure that they are fully implementable within the budget and timeline previously agreed upon.

    During this stage we will create technical drawings, 3D models, elevations and any other design elements that might be needed to ensure that everything can be integrated smoothly. This also means that other professionals involved in the build, such as the electrician and the architect, can easily work from our plans.

    This stage is where we can provide a more detailed costing breakdown, highlighting areas where costs can be saved or where the limitations of a property might necessitate a more expensive workaround.

  • 4. Equipment Procurement

    We have incredibly strong links with a number of established, well-regarded manufacturers in the Lifestyle Technology Industry, allowing us to specify the best possible equipment.

    By working with trusted suppliers we are able to guarantee the quality of the materials we provide, as well as being able to ensure that all equipment will be delivered on schedule and within the budgets we have previously agreed upon.

  • 5. Installation

    Our experienced, CEDIA-trained installation team is fully involved in our projects from the start and, as such, arrive on site with everything they need to get the work done.

    Thanks to our rigorous design process, many of the usual delays that often happen once a project moves on-site can be avoided, allowing us to complete our installations efficiently and minimising the tendency for mission creep during the integration process.

  • 6. Aftercare

    Smart homes are incredibly complex systems, which is why an installation of this sort doesn’t end once the final cable is in place. We don’t agree that this should be a hidden cost, which is why extensive technical support for a year following your installation is included as part of your installation.

    We’ll remotely inspect your property’s technology systems on a regular basis, as well as organising a number of in-person visits to the property so we can safeguard that everything is running smoothly.
