Electrical Engineer
Butler Harwell, headquartered in Ashford, Kent, was founded in 2018 and specialises in the design, installation and ongoing maintenance of high-end smart-home and audio-visual systems. The Company has experienced exponential growth since its incorporation in 2018, now boasting team members across two office locations (Essex and Kent); the Company also benefits from the smart show home it shares in partnership with renowned German housebuilder Huf Haus, at Brooklands in Weybridge, Surrey.
Working locally, nationally and internationally, Butler Harwell operates in the super-prime residential arena, and is seeking to add another skilled member to its rapidly expanding team.
The Role:
The ideal candidate will:
work under our Electrical Projects Manager, carrying out installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
liaising with line manager and other site workers and performing jobs as and when they are required., in accordance with contract/agreed requirements and within agreed time limits
maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work
ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
adhere to all organisation policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility
the role is part of the whole organisation team and as such requires you to perform such reasonable tasks that are required, as and when are necessary, to maintain, promote, develop and expand the business its interests generally.

Our ideal Candidate will show an ability to grow with the Company and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of its key aims and objectives.
This is a full-time field-based role, with an expectation that applicants may reside in Essex, Surrey or Kent.
A laptop will be provided along with an expenses card for general day-to-day company use and a fuel card for vehicle expenses. It is preferable that candidates have a full UK driving licence.
The role includes 20 days paid holiday plus eight days bank holidays per year. Additionally, any working days between Christmas and New Year will be paid, despite our office being closed during this time.
The basic salary is £45,000 per annum, where a discretionary 5% annual bonus (paid quarterly), based on meeting agreed targets / KPIs, equating to a potential earning of £47,250 per annum.
